I have been a Nichiren Buddhist for 28 years. I understand the value of meditation. We chant, a physical meditation. Even though it is different, the long slow deep breathing needed to repeat nam myoho renge kyo as many time as possible slows down your heart rate and by itself puts you in a very relaxed state. But I will go through what you have posted and see what it is you are offering. Also BTW, thank you for coming to Jamie’s blog. For quite a few years of his stay in prison he has been learning the value of thinking differently and making changes to his life that will get him better effects. NMRK is about the law of cause and effect.
